Dentists
Dr Paaras Dhanani
Dentist
Paaras has practiced at New Road Dental since qualifying from Manchester. He has gained valuable experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry upon obtaining certificates in the Tipton Aesthetic dentistry, Osteocare and Straumann implantology courses. He recently became a member of the Joint Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons having completed the MJDF exam in 2009. He has a keen interest in cosmetics to create natural looking smiles. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing and watching football and cricket.
Dr Nimesh Patel
Dentist
Nimesh qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas' dental school. He completed his vocational training at a practice in Maida Vale. He is also an honorary clinical demonstrator at Kings College hospital where he used to teach dental students. His main interest lies in root canal treatment and implant dentistry. He also has a special interest in Invisalign, a unique clear brace system to straighten teeth. He enjoys keeping fit by regularly visiting the gym and swimming.
Dr Kathryn Gordon
Dentist
Kathryn qualified from Manchester and is enjoying living in London. Her delightful smile and welcoming nature puts patients at ease from the start. Her Canadian background makes her a natural cosmetic dentist. She will in the future be providing sedation for the very nervous patients. Healthy cooking and keeping fit are her favourite past times.
Dr Sharon Addlestone
Dentist
Sharon qualified at Birmingham University. She has acquired membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons and is a member of the Hertfordshire Local Dental Committee. Her interests lie in general family dentistry. She enjoys enormously working in Croxley Green and in her spare time she enjoys theatre, cookery and needle work.
Dr Raoul Patel
Dentist
Raoul has recently joined the practice. He qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas' dental school in 2008. He has recently completed a course in 'contemporary restorative and aesthetic dentistry' dentistry. He regularly attends lectures and post graduate courses to continually enhance his knowledge and skills. In his spare time, Raoul is a keen sportsman, enjoying football, cricket and golf. In the winter he can usually be found carving the 'piste' in the Alps.
Dr Hema Pankhania
Dentist
Hema qualified from Leeds University and joined the practice in August 2011. Her caring and friendly nature enables patients to feel at ease whilst undergoing treatment. Her main interests lie in treating nervous patients. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends.

Practice manager
Sarah is the manager of the practice and keeps the team motivated. She has a very cheerful and calm personality so patients can always feel comfortable and welcomed by her. Her involvement in the practice protocols has invariably advanced the thinking of the practice. Sarah enjoys flower arranging and walking her Labrador in her spare time.
Cathy
Head Customer Service Advisor
Cathy has been in dentistry for over 25 years. Her wealth of experience in dentistry puts her in a unique position to understand our patients' needs and desires. She is a valuable asset to both the practice and our patients. In her spare time Cathy enjoys reading and going to theatre.
Rowan
Customer Service Advisor
Rowan will be a familiar smiling face to many of you having joined a year ago. Her professional and efficient manner allows the reception to run very smoothly. Outside the practice she enjoys walking her 2 dogs and spending time with her family and friends.
Emma
Customer Service Advisor
Emma has been at New Road since 2008. Her kind and gentle nature is very welcoming. As a mother she has a fabulous approach with our younger patients and she always tries to make sure that your time with us is as stress free as possible. Going to cinema and socialising is Emma best pass time.
Joanne
Head Nurse
Joanne is the head nurse at New Road Dental practice and has been working within the team for 4 years now. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with her main interests being implants and restorative dentistry. Her empathetic and caring nature relaxes patients from the start and she is fantastic with the children. Jo’s bubbly and energetic personality really motivates the team to achieve excellence. She is a very keen artist and spends most of her evenings running.
Scarlett
Nurse
Scarlett joined the practice late 2010. She has settled in very well with the team and her caring nature is appreciated by all the patients. She enjoys meeting the patients and seeing the change from their increased personal confidence following treatment. Scarlett enjoys walking her dogs and keeping fit in her spare time
Shena
Nurse
Shena has been with the practice for over 10 years. She is highly experienced and her caring nature puts the patients at ease. Her empathetic approach with nervous patients makes her an integral part of the practice. Outside the practice she is very much a family person.
Kirsty
Nurse
Kirsty has been dental nursing for 3 years and recently joined the practice after moving down from Cheshire. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially cosmetic and orthodontics. Her kind and gentle approach makes her very good with our elderly patients and she enjoys listening to their experiences. Kirsty enjoys socialising and travelling in her spare time.
